We made a girls night out with our friends Mrs. Julie and Abby. Kayla and Abby both wanted to cut their hair and Abby even wanted to get her ears pierced so we talked the Daddy's into staying with the little ones and off we went to a place called Sweet N Sassy. We walked in and the girls were at home- Glitter everywhere, the place smelled like bubblegum ( we were later informed it's the air fresheners- who woulda thought LOL), and more lipstick/make-up than I have ever seen..... We told the girls that they both wanted a bob style hair cut and I was sooo excited until I looked over at my big girl and the hairdresser combed out her long blond hair- "are you sure you want to do this Kayla?" I asked her, "YES" and I could tell she was ready ( but was I ??) She did it and I absolutely LOVE it as does everyone else - her hair looks healthy and she looks so much older but in a good way. We then took Abby to get her ears pierced ( she did great- I was soo nervous for her I forgot to take a pic) and then we went to eat and the lady gave the girls a sundae cup in a martini glass- HOW FANCY. We all had a fantastic night and look forward to more girls nights out!! Kayla will be 9 in September and is turning into such a beautiful, smart little lady- if I do say so myself......
