We had such a fun 4th and even though our entire neighborhood did fireworks ( I really think each household set em off! LOL!) we OF COURSE had to get some- thanks to Paw-Paw Ken!! All the men went back behind the houses in the cul-de-sac and started them up....... It was beautiful, funny, and a little scary all at the same time!! Beautiful - Of course other than being loud, who could not love the sight of what looks like glitter in the sky ??! I even got a cute shot of Colin ( Nora's oldest) watching them through the window- too cute!! Funny - Not only did it take 10 men ( well it seemed like it to me boys!!) to light the fireworks it was way to funny when one of the tubes fell over and fireworks went out in all directions then OF COURSE started little fireballs in the field, this may not sound funny to you, but watching all those men run at lighting speed and start stompin' on the miniature flames was HILARIOUS to me!! Scary- Yes I was a little scared when Jeremy started handing out the sparklers and all the kids of course loved em and I loved the pics , but one landed on arm and YES it was HOT ( HA - no kidding , right!!?) AND Jeremy later told me while setting of the works a piece feel and hit HIM right on his glasses and popped the lens out ( Thank goodness he wears glasses, right!!) ...... All in all it WAS a wonderful night with our friends and family and hey we survived , right? LOL!

I had so much fun that night. It felt like the A-team when we were ducking behind the "KleenPro" truck to avoid the rogue fireworks...
Thanks for coming over!
The Kleen Pro truck has a dent, and a black mark as a reminder of July 4th, 2007. That was a great night! We had so much fun.
See, now we can say that "We've made our mark."
