Thanksgiving happenings......

The past few weeks we have been doing little projects leading up to Thanksgiving much like we are trying to do for Christmas we are making a lot of our decorations/gifts this year so for Thanksgiving we did a "project" or two a week and heres what Maw-Maws house will be decorated with ( wont she be surprised lol!!!)

Turkey table runner with little hands........ Kayla made hers out of felt though:)

"Tom" the turkey made by Emma and Kayla- got the idea HERE and taught the girls how to sew at the same time! Cash has done this for his tray work almost everyday- he loves matching the colors and buttoning the feathers on:)

Turkeys made with reese's cups ( thanks Maw-Maw for the project!!)

Cornucopia with "tiles" ( cut up squares of construction paper) then we glued it to our place mats with what we are thankful for ( Jaxsons list is funny, but hey atleast hes grateful for so much!)lol and I have to go laminate tomorrow!

Of course we are thankful for our birdie friends so we made them some pine comb treats too!

On our baking list to do Wednesday ( remember measuring is school too!) cranberry and apple casserole, stuffed mushrooms, cranberry bread ( to wrap up our book "Cranberry Thanksgiving"- do u remember this book from when u were little? I do... I was so excited to see it on our 5 in a row book list!), homemade wheat bread, and an apple pie! whewww I am ready to eat and relax on Thursday and go get everything out for Christmas Friday ( well have to talk J into doing THAT for me! lol)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING love you all so much and I am so GrAtEfUl to have you all in my life to love and support my family!

Speaking of Christmas - does it feel like its coming so quick to anybody else??? Like I mentioned above I am making some gifts this year ( little things that I have ideas off of etsy , but cant show in case some of YOU may get it!! lol) the girls are making their gifts to one another too this year- so glad they are getting to this age and I can sew with them, bake with them, just have our girl time together ( though Cash is usually in the kitchen baking with us- he loves it!) this year!
