AGAIN??

Its March 2 and it snowed? Well I guess it has snowed before in March but come on... all that nice warm weather - all my tulips that started to sprout- my garden that I JUST planted seeds last Thursday .. is all lost?? Noooo I know its not the end of the world- after all Cash has that awful cold going around so he slept until 11 today- the girls did have school, but played a good 2 or more hours outside and made an awesome "sungirl" as they called it ( thanks for the help Abby and Mrs. Nora!! :)) AND my favorite part of the day after all--- my Jaxs and me .... just us, getting the heart cakes ready for baking and having awesome conversations about nothing but everything at the same time!! As a mommy to 4 soon to b 5 I do not get a ton of one on one time so it was really special the way the day worked out - nowhere to go, nothing much to be done-- loved it after all!!

Today is also Dr.Seuss' bday and we are doing a study of that this week in school- so today we made heart mini cakes ( helped Jaxson to learn about measurement and portions for each cup!), then we decorated with homemade icing and made different colors ( can u guess??- helped making a connection for primary colors and what 2 primary colors make another color!) and of course we are delivering to some neighbors around ( we are getting out in a bit.. promise!!) not only to give everyone a treat but to show we made these with LOVE and that's what Dr.S books in most of the endings are about.... loving each other and working together! Kayla and Emma also made up their own poems to attach to the cakes - just like the books ( umm can u guess this is school too!!lol) Here's Kayla's:
Dear Dr Seuss heres to you!
On this birthday, are you forty-two?
Friends, SURPRISE!
We've got cupcakes for you!
How do you do?
I fix breakfast for kangaroos....

Emma's:
Doctor Seuss how old are you
100 or 52?
On this birthday we made cupcakes for you!

** no comments if you don't get a heart cake- we DO love u too but only could make what amount we had and the people living close all have an average of 3 kiddos ( whats wrong with these people having so many?? tee hee!!)

What an impressive snowman...er, I mean, "sungirl!" My boys made their first snowman this morning and it definitely wasn't as big as yours! He was cute though- I'll post pics later!

Woah, it looks like your girls scooped up almost every bit of snow to put together that huge sungirl! Good job.

The girls LOVED their heart cakes, they had them for desert. Kiley was so sad she didn't get to Em (Ryan had taken her to dance), but still keeps saying, she is one of two friends coming over for her Birthday sleepover how time doesnt change a thing for those girls, just like us!

Thanks for having the boys over to decorate cupcakes - they loved them :) I guess the men lifted the sun girl together? She was beautiful - especially the hair - fun day in the snow!
