IS it almost TIME!!??

YES! Christmas is almost here and my whole fam is excited ( even Jeremy, just a little, lol!)..........
OK so this is why my blogs have been few the lasts month so brace yourselves for A LOT of typing and pics !! Hope everyone has a blessed Christmas and to all the family and friends that are far away this year we love you and miss you lots!! To all our family and friends here- love ya too !!!! Here is a list of all the things I squeezed in this month ( I know I know- and I try and think of why some days are stressful??!! lol) not in any order just what I can remember we did ! .........

Went to park in PJ's for a "POLAR EXPRESS" ride- check Julie's blog out for pics- she is way ahead of me!

Visited Mama Horn ( a friends Grandma) in the nursing home, but she dozed the entire time ( she is 90 something!) so we walked around handing out Christmas cards to the other grandaddies and grandmommies ( that's what Jaxson call older people??)

Had a neighborhood ( even though anyone can come to these things ya know!!) kids cookie exchange ( the kids each made- well mommies made- a dozen and then we got everyone together to try em out - I think some got to take cookies home, but Jack took a taste test out of all of his!! lol! And I don't have any pics from this so PLEASE any of u gals that took pics will you email me them- thanks much!! Thanks too for all the YUMMY treats!!

SHOPPED, SHOPPED,SHOPPED ( OK so last time I order on line in NOVEMBER!! long story but to make it short er - bought clothes for hubby never got delivered.... called waited on phone for 2 hours a few days ago trying to figure what to do and they told me they forgot to ship! - charged my card- but no ship!! A little mad can ya tell!?? so I had to go to 3 separate of the stores around town and find each item- of course 3 things 3 different stored miles (many) apart- but they are gonna look great on him, right????!! lol)

We made a Gingerbread House ( complete with snowman with a gold tooth- Jeremy's idea- and birdbath out front ;) ) and tried to out do the McGlincheys ( again check HER blog she is way on top of things this year, I thought when pregnant you forget things and are slower in the getting stuff done, no?? Only me I guess - when pregnant or NOT apparently!! lol

Had the Hemphill fam come visit which was awesome! The Johns brought over baby Isaac ( that's really who Ash came to see!! lol) and Max and Jaxson had such a fun visit together..... I hope one day Cash will grow to love Phebs- she hadn't even got IN the house when Cash was saying, " No, Baby" " No, Baby" like he is sooooo much older than her ( a few months!) so while we do have an arranged marriage maybe they can work it out by then! lol love you guys and so glad you came ;)

Had Hot coco with Santa and roasted Marshmellows the best part was when we all got to the barn ( horse drawn sleigh- fun!) Cash ran up to Santa threw his letter to him and was done with that- off to feed the goats!! The girls had a much longer conversation -Kayla's in detail! Emma wasn't AS shy as I thought she would be :) - and Jaxson- well bless his heart he wants PERCY this Christmas and he just can't say it right so all that has asked my Jaxs what he wants for Christmas and his response is tools and PERCY ( can't write what it sounds like- get it though???? ) bear with him until he gets it right!

Finally got some Christmas cards- sorry if ya didn't get one no offense I just couldn't get em all out!! lol

And don't forget all the things my babies remind me of that we do each night - it really does warm my heart that they enjoy doing this as a family and helps me to enjoy them even if I have a million other thoughts going on at that moment and still trying to keep my eyes open to listen and read to them!- We read the Nativity Usbourn book ( I love it, it comes with Pop outs for each day Dec1-24! gotta get -call Ash check out her blog) and our Sock tradition, count down till Christmas ( every night a different child peeks into sock and an elve has left a special treat if you have had excellent behavior that day- if not you r outta luck! lol!) and don't forget the baking, the smells and the real reason I doo LOVE this time of year a baby being born in a manger and how awesome He truly is- even though sometimes I put Him on a back burner to get all this "stuff" in- I'm workin on though!!:)

This is a different Christmas this year for us- for me too, Jeremy's family is traveling this year ( you guys have a fun Polish Style Christmas-- can't wait to hear how it was!! :) ) and the fact that Kayla is with her dad this year -he has moved back and wanting to get back in the picture- which is of course hard for us as a family, but truly hard for Kayla ( she really wanted to be here but as a law he gets every other Christmas as long as he is in state- yucky law I think!!) she was so torn and I Never want her feel like she has to choose so I let her g0 - I will/do miss her very much though so please say a little prayer for me for her and I do want my family to have a great Christmas, I can't wait to give her a big hug at 1:00 Christmas day- countin down the hours!! :)

Merry Christmas- sorry a long read and enjoy pics if anything else pops into my mind we did ( it seemed like WAY more than this at the time! lol really it does!) I'll post more pics!
Love
Kate
