I really have no words as of now just deep sadness... my sweet- blueberry pancake makin'- Kay-Kay passed away early this morning. I remember feeling totally lost when my pop-pop ( her husband) died and shortly after found out I was pregnant with Kayla. At that time I was 17 and didn't really realize his loss- I feel her loss completely and miss both of them so very much. All the should haves are flooding me- all the times I was to busy to call- all the pictures we took just a few weeks ago while visiting that are lost and thought I would go see her again soon to take more- all those things are filling up my head and yet one thing I do know for sure she is dancing again with my pop-pop and hope she knows and feels my love and appreciation for all she did for me as a little girl........

Kate, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved grandmother. You know in your heart (if not your guilt ridden head)that she was very happy to have been able to spend time with you recently and she must be so very proud of you...so young and so accomplished with a beautiful family that you shared with her!! I will pray for the easing of the pain you and your family are feeling at her loss to be replaced by sweet memories of her and your Pop-Pop. Love you much!!
