Yes I did go "camping" this past weekend and I LOVED it!!! J and I were invited to this great party up in the mountains ( Fancy Gap). Sandy, one of J's coworkers puts this together every year and we got on the LIST!! ( LOL!) We ate the best BBQ and got to listen to some old time country/rock and I just LOVED it! I loved because I didn't have to worry about my hair or what clothes to wear ( the bigger the sweatshirt the better- it was COLD!) We just sat back and watched everybody having a wonderful time and just enjoyed this beautiful place- 90 acres of trees, grass ( GREEN TOO! I haven't seen that in a while with this drought!), a lake that the men hit golf balls in ( why not, right?!) and of course my J, just me and him- it was awesome! It was also a first for me being in the mountains during the fall and the trees were breathtaking- burnt oranges, apple reds, lush greens- all these beautiful colors that just was amazing- I was praising God for all His artwork !! :) We did end up sleeping IN the truck because it got down to 30 degrees around 2 AM but I STILL camped out- no potties- no shower..... and enjoyed every minute!! Thanks so much Sandy and Elizabeth for the invite- we hope to be back next year!!

Kate, camping sounded SO fun!....I have been telling Alex I want to take the kids camping like I did when I was growing up....we are thinking about a trip in the spring, but camping in the fall is the best!....loved the pics!
we were commenting on each other at the same time!lol....and yes we both have good taste! lol....better go now, Ian is jumping on my bed, he's going to hurt himself if I dont stop him! lol
Those pumpkins are AWESOME - and I love the new blog look. How about tent camping next weekend????
You were near my parents when you were in Mayberry!! We go into Mt. Airy all the time, it is such a cute town.
I am so glad you survived your camp-out! Shower or not, I know you were the cutest chick in the mountains! :)
